‘Too Wise to Woo Peaceably’ is the next up in the Fiber of Infinite Jest series, inspired by Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, and our favorite bickering duo! Lively, speckled, silly… but “Give not this rotten orange to your friend”… ouch, Claudio. No thanks. We understand Beatrice’s plea for Benedict to kill Claudio after that insult. Fun fact, this is the only mention of orange in any of the plays that I’m using for inspiration (aside from orange-tawny, which is more of a brown). Orange as a color word wasn’t widespread at this point, generally referring to the fruit instead of the colour. 🍊 I say to this colorway, “I love you with so much of my heart that none is left to protest.”
